MEREDITH IVY WHITE M.ED. CCC-SLP, COM
Meredith White is a speech-language pathologist as well as special needs mother to children with autism and other learning challenges. She is recognized by Apraxia Kids for Advanced Training and Expertise in Childhood Apraxia of Speech, and is certified (COM) by the International Association of Orofacial Myology (IAOM). In September 2016, she served as Walk Coordinator for the Greater Atlanta Area Walk for Childhood Apraxia of Speech, raising over $22,500. In February, 2017, she presented on Childhood Apraxia of Speech, and in February 2018, she presented on Tongue-Tie, at the Georgia Speech-Language Hearing Association’s (GSHA) Annual Convention. In April, 2018, she served as a guest lecturer, discussing pediatric motor speech disorders, for graduate students at Georgia State University.
ELIZABETH BLAIR, M.ED. CCC-SLP
Liz received her BS in Communication Disorders from Auburn University and her MEd from the University of West Georgia. With a specialty in Childhood Apraxia of Speech, Liz attends the National Conference for Apraxia, Nancy Kaufman, and other advanced training opportunities. Experience includes: Childhood Apraxia of Speech, Orofacial Myology, Articulation, Receptive/Expressive Language, Autism, AAC, SCERTS , Fluency, and various diagnoses.
HEATHER PERRY, M.SLP CCC-SLP
Heather received her Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology from the University of South Caroline. After working in schools she went on to full-time clinical work. Heather specializes in pediatrics and has experience with the following: Apraxia Kids National Convention, Orofacial Myology, Articulation, Receptive/Expressive Language, Autism, AAC, Fluency of Speech, and various diagnoses.
JOELLYN THOMPSON, M.S. CCC-SLP
Joellyn received her Masters of Science in Speech Pathology from East Tennessee State University. She's a part-time employee of MWSP and was last year's Teacher of the Year at Coralwood School in Dekalb County. Joellyn has seven years experience in the clinical setting, where she became passionate about feeding and picky eating therapy. Experience includes: SOS Approach for Picky Eaters, pediatric dysphagia, AAC, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, Orofacial Myology, Expressive/Receptive Language, Articulation, Speech Fluency, Autism and complex kids.
LINDSEY HENDRIX, M.S. CCC-SLP
Lindsey received her BS from Texas State University and her MS from West Texas A&M Universities. Lindsey is a part-time employee for MWSP and contracts to school systems. Lindsey has experience with: Orofacial Myology, Articulation & Phonological Disorders, Receptive-Expressive Language, Fluency of Speech, Autism, and various disorders.
